Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Growth Lead to join our team remotely (North America or UK). As the Growth Lead at Pin Drop, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement for our geolocation-based platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and customer success, to identify growth opportunities and implement data-driven campaigns. We are seeking someone who is a creative thinker, proactive, and passionate about growth hacking and scaling startups. Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that drives user acquisition, engagement, and retention across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content, SEO, social media, partnerships, and more.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and user behavior insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize campaigns, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and growth experiments to optimize the customer journey, conversion rates, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align on growth goals, develop coordinated campaigns, and deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Performance Marketing: Manage and optimize paid acquisition channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize ROI and drive high-quality leads.
  • Content and SEO Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of content marketing and SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Customer Insights and Feedback: Gather customer feedback and market insights to continuously refine growth strategies, product offerings, and messaging.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track, measure, and report on key growth metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership on growth performance and optimization opportunities.

Skills We're Looking For

  • Experience in Growth Marketing: 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or tech startup environment.
  • Expertise in Performance Marketing: Proven experience managing and optimizing paid acquisition channels (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and driving high ROI.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Looker) and experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
  • SEO and Content Strategy Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and inbound marketing strategies to drive organic growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM and Automation Tools: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000+ per year, depending on experience and skills. This competitive base reflects the strategic importance of the role in driving company growth.
  • Performance Bonuses: 15% to 20% of the base salary, based on achieving key growth metrics such as user acquisition, engagement, and retention targets.
  • Equity Options: 0.05% to 0.2% equity, providing an opportunity to have a stake in the company’s growth and success.
